Dr. Mark Ostrem has been named the Medical Director at The Boston Home. Dr. Ostrem earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN. He completed his internship of medicine at the University of North Dakota/Merit Healthcare in Fargo ND and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, MN. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. From 2001-present, Dr. Ostrem has held the academic appointment of Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA He is the Chief of Geriatrics in the department of Internal Medicine at Carney Hospital. He is active in the American Medical Director's Association.
